What is the Production Team?

The production team at Mona Vale Christian Life Centre incorporates the sound, video, overheads, and recording departments. Our role is to provide technical support to Pastor Terry and the church leadership, the Creative Ministries team, the Young Adults and SNAC, and the church congregation.

What we actually do

Examples of our involvement include:

• Producing quality live sound for services
• Video presentations and announcements
• Audio CDs of the service (weekly)
• Videos of the service on the web (monthly)
• Young Adults and SNAC big screen movie and game nights
• CLC ministries PowerPoint presentations

The Vision

To help present the fullness of God, through technology, in a way which is relevant to people on the Northern Beaches.

Why the Name?

The name ‘production team’ is adapted from the world of musical theatre. In theatre the actors and musicians on stage are referred to as the ‘talent’, whereas everyone else including lighting and sound operators, wardrobe assistants, etc, are known as the production team. The role of the production team is to ‘produce the show’. In other words this means to support the ‘talent’ and to do whatever we can to make the show run as smoothly as possible. The production team forms the backbone of the show and is ‘behind the scenes’.
