SNAC Youth (SN@C)

SN@C Youth is a safe place where youth (11-16) can hang out and be themselves.

SN@C Youth is a place where they can have fun and they will be encouraged to remember God.

In the bible (Ecclesiastes chapters 10 and 11), the preacher encourages young people to enjoy their youth and to remember God while they are young. That is our overall vision for SN@C Youth, that our youth enjoy their teenage years and that they would remember God, the love he has for them, their friends and families – in Jesus Christ, there is a hope and a future to live for.

We had a great time at Central on Friday night. A games show with a Central twist.  Some of the highlights:

  • Devon, and that massive bubble you blew! And that 'bubble gum' was seriously hard to blow bubbles from!
  • Winning!
  • Seeing new faces - it was great to have Lachlan and Mitchell join us.

Well done to Jasper, Mitchell and Lachlan on winning the 'Double Bubble'

Who can remember the central passage of the bible (book, chapter, verse and message)? I'll ask you on Friday.

Look forward to seeing everyone at Youth vs Wild this week. Bring a sense of adventure, a friend... and yourself.

See you there.

You guys rock,
Dave.

We had an amazing time at the Waterworks on Friday night!  I am still a little tired - and sore!  I hope you didn't get too many bruises, and had a good sleep in on Saturday morning.

This coming Friday we will meet at the youth hall and move onto a local park to play some 'unique' games - if it stops raining!

It was great to see everyone again on Friday night and we are really looking forward to catching up with those who couldn't make it to the Waterworks.

Don't forget we will draw the raffle this coming Friday.

Have a great week,

D.
