It was great fun on Friday night, I had a blast (I think my voice is still recovering!).
Yes, it was a win to Central yet again. Maybe the parents will catch up to us next time?!
Thanks for bringing your parents along last week, I heard some of them talking on the weekend about how much fun they had... although we promise you we will not invite them along every week!
This week is Double Bubble, it's going to be heeeeeeeaps of fun. Bring a friend, bring a will to get involved and have some fun, bring an open heart and mind.
See you there,
D. |

Michele Perry founded the Yei children’s Village, a compound which now houses more than 90 children and thirty leaders and staff in 2006. Yei is little more than a collection of dirt roads and shacks. The children’s village and its Primary School are like an oasis in an area that has been impacted by prolonged war.
The children at Yei experience a family dynamic with house mamas in a community setting. As a Church we have been involved primarily in the financing of “houses” in the Yei village compound and the annual Christmas Party.
The year has started with a National Prayer Conference for Pastors and Leaders from around Southern Sudan being held at Yei. One hundred unexpected children turned up for lunch one day at the conference and God multiplied the food!!
The children have their own church and this year Beida, one of the children, preached her first sermon.
